Originally, the silks were going to be worn by Ivan Taski. When it was decided that Taski was not going to ride, Mi Taylor figured that he would be the jockey and have to wear the silks. However, when he came back from riding the Pie, he found Velvet Brown dressed in them, trying to convince Mi she could do it. Mi cut her hair short so she could better disguise as Taski. The silks were a bright pink with yellow sleeves. The pants were white.
